I like it and wish I was there. The banding in the sky is weird. However since there is nothing else in the sky, a blur type tool can fix it fairly easily. I would prefer a different position with respect to the sun, because it washes out the water spray and makes the dark hull look too monotone. It is a bummer when the ship more than filled the frame and the movement caused stitch issue on a multiple shot photo.

Like others have said, you got great shots. The one thing that catches my eye in photos is items that should be horizontal (ex: horizons) are level and items that should be vertical (posts) are plumb. A little twist of a couple of these would help some. (imho)

Nice panorama of Seattle. It frames up well in a location that captures the full width of the city, north to south. (I assume about 5 shots?). Might want to check the white balance. It seems a little bit blue.

Thank you, TriX, for so powerfully stating exactly how I feel. I know many disagree, but the points to remember is that NO ONE is out to take your guns. And, like you, I see no justification for an assault style rife or any weapon with a high capacity magazine.

Anytime I see the phrase "No one..." in any argument or discussion, the rest of what they say is too biased to be considered...

When figuring cost of the electricity, you should look at the "net" cost. In a home, all that electricity entering the PC goes into heating the home. This lowers the cost of adding heat in the home (in the winter, especially in the northern states for the USA). But then in the summer it raises the cost to remove the heat. (cost of the electricity doubled plus additional cost from efficiency of cooling costs) All a matter of how much of the year you heat vs cool the home. It is also a good reason to turn off devices not being used in the summer.

While the article is correct on the 10 reasons why desktops will be around for a long time (not sure about "forever"), it does understate what a Laptop can do and what is needed. For work, I have the best of both worlds. I use a laptop that at work is connected to a dock that has dual large screen monitors connected as well as a wireless mouse and keyboard. There are still many more connections if needed. On top of that, I can take my computer with me and if needed work from home easily with all the files. I do only use one large monitor when at home.

I usually vote for most realistic, but today I went with 8. It got a smile out of me.

One comment I heard locally is that if we must change to DST, then the change should happen at 4:00 PM on a Friday instead of 2:00 AM on Sunday morning.

I hope none of these signs are "borrowed" from the location.

I have wondered that too. I am guess that at least some have been. Sometimes old replaced signs are available.

The Sign Post Forest is a stop along the Alaska Highway in the town of Watson Lake, Yukon Territory, Canada (just barely north of British Columbia). This is sort of like a park where visitors post signs indicating their hometowns and there are a lot more signs than this image shows.

This panorama is made from 6 original photos that were taken in 2005 using an HP PhotoSmart R817 (5 MP point and shoot).

While these are good, at least a couple of them have perfectly reasonable answers. (#17 & #32)
