The range of this lens is already covered with two of your own lenses. If you are wanting to get a lens to shoot macro, I would look at other possibilities, if that is what you are wanting to purchase this lens for.
Not anything specific just an all around lens that might help improve and make my picture taking easier
Yes it is, I updated more info. Thx. For your reply and help. Don't want to rush into any lens, but would like to get another to improve my experiences.

Even though I am a beginner DSLR user I have the D3200, I have a friend that is a professional photographer but had to sell her equipment when times were rough. When she needs to take professional photographs she will borrow my camera. She takes great pictures and is satisfied with her work. Of course being a professional (or at least someone skilled ) her first pick would be a higher end camera I'm sure but the camera works for her.

Did you rename it on the downloaded copy? Or on the original on the card?
I think the card before I moved it. Thanks again for your help.

I have a D3200, I noticed twice, first time not thinking much about it, that after moving my pictures from my camera SD card to my computer SD card and putting it back in my camera I can no longer view my pictures on my camera. My pictures are still on card but not readable anymore from camera. I am interested why. Thx in advance for your help.

There are three parameters that change depth of field (dof): focal length of lens, f/stop, and distance from lens to the focus point. There are several free apps that you can download for your computer or cell phone. I use one all the time to ensure that I get the dof wanted. Play around with the app and you'll get a good idea of what you need to do.
What apps are you referring to.
