Thank you, everyone. My Tamron 18-400 should be here Thursday. Just in time for my walk in the woods. I appreciate all of you for taking the time to send me a comment. Live well, prosper, and stay healthy.
Looks like the tamron 18-400 might be a winner. Could those of you who have one please post a picture of it on the camera, and how much it weighs and it’s length. Thanks.
Hi there. I'm thinking Id like a new lens for my camera. I presently have a Sigma 18-250, but I'd like to have something a little longer, like 400-500. BUT I don't want something heavy, or so long that I need to have it on a tripod to use it. I like my Sigma, it fits well, takes a good pic for an amature like me, but I'd like to get the wood ducks swimming on the pond without them being scared away. Any suggestions? Trying to keep it under $600.
Anyone out there have any idea of what to do with old b&w movies? I believe some of these are what they used to call "smokers", a very old movie about Canadian Mounties, and possibly a color short, but its at the end of a reel, so I don't know. Burn them, bury them? There is no recycle for them. If anyone would like them, and would pay postage, I'd be willing to pack them up and send them out. Thanks for looking!
OK, I'll try this again. Cropped is on top, original on the bottom. Thank you everyone for all you help and info. Sometimes I just feel soooo stupid.
I hope this is what EXFI is: f/6.3 1/800 sec iso 200 +0.7 step 500mm focal spot meter
The first picture is cropped, and the second is the original
I'm sorry, what is EXIF? It was on a tripod. And how do I upload the pictures?
I’m taking pictures of vultures eating a dead something or other in the snow, with this lens, through a window, at 100 yards. After importing the pics onto my iPad, they look ok. But to zoom in on the pic to get a better look at the birds, they are not crystal clear. Is it the lens, or is it the window? Your opinions please before I buy a new lens. 🤨
I'm kinda looking for the lowest price I can get, hopefully around $700 I have champagne taste on a diet coke budget.
looking to buy a like new Nikon D7500 for a reasonable price. No lenses, just the body. Thanks for looking.
I have a Nikon D5100 and my favorite lens is te Sigma DC 18-250mm 1:3.5-6.3 Macro HSM

Is the glass that is included with the Nikon D5300 or D5600 kits worth the money? Or should I just go with the Body and use my existing lenses? I'm so confused by everything I read.
Can anyone tell me why I need a camera with wifi? Can I post to facebook, send photos or what?
I had the Nikon 18-300, and sold it for the Sigma. I also have a Nikkor 50mm that I never use. My instructor told me that I needed it. Haven't used it since the class. Sigh.
