UHH, Did not really know where to post this, if i am in the wrong area, please let me know and either I or the Monitor will move this post.

I have an "older" AirEquipt model 450 EF slide projector.
I have no idea how old it is. It was given to me about 4 years ago and I do not use it. I have a newer model using the "box" magazine.

I also have 17 of the Circular Magazines holding 100 slides each, and made of plastic (heavy duty too), and 28 of the "box type" magazine holding 30 slides. These are made from aluminum.

See the attached photos in this post.
The projector is labeled as a 420/430 model but the projector has 450.
The projector will use either magazine, box or circular.
Has a good lens and remote advance/reverse of the slides.

My Question. Is this worth anything? To anyone?
I've called a couple of local camera shops and they were not interested.

I hate to discard it, I would give the projector to an E-Waste and recycle the circular magazines and sell the box magazines for the Aluminum. That's recycling!

Anyone interested? I can make you a good deal for the items. Not garenteed however. I did use the projector after i received it and it worked OK. Even the lens was Autofocus.

If you need any other photos, let me know too,

Don’t know what it is worth, but I would love to give it a home if it needs one! I have a ton of old slides

This is an odd one. I was talking to a friend who works in retail, and he said it's very common for women to pick up several items, carry them around the store, and then go looking for a shopping cart.

Two questions for this elite group of wizards!
1). Feedback please on best/not best brand of cf memory cards. There is a significant price decrepancy between some of the brands and wanted to hear of the pros and cons y'all have experienced.

2). Feedback on purchasing a "L" series lens. I am interested in a 24-70 f/2.8. Can anyone tell me the major difference in the original and the II lenses? On a side note, would anyone have one they would be interested in selling. If not, would you have recommendations on where to obtain one?

Thanks--as usual, I will sit back and take in the wealth of knowledge and wisdom that is coming henceforth!

I have an Exakta Camera that I inherited from a family relative. It is in excellent condition and is functional. The camera has a number of lenses, filters, a grip, all the paper work (original) in the camera bag.

I also have an "EXAKTA PHOTOGRAPHY" book ( I will include a picture of it).

Could you please send me so feedback to its worth or tell me where I could find this information out. I would greatly appreciate it.

I have included a link to Dropbox so you could see some of the pictures http://www.dropbox.com/sh/h8z4a0e8zo7cp8p/AABYLX92txxJAioEZoQKnB2la?dl=0

Thanks

Sorry--I got interrupted putting the information on the page. I inherited this equipment and did not know it's value--to me or anyone else. I have no particular affinity to it, so, if anyone knows how to determine its value and/or knows anyone that might be interested in it--please let me know.

THANKS IN ADVANCE!

I have a Lexar Professional (800x) camera card. It is new (only used for 2 shoots). I used the card at a major "Red Carpet" event down in the Houston area several weeks ago. I have quite a few pictures on the card. When I place the card in the reader, it tells me that there is approximately 4 GB of memory used (out of 16GB). I saw the pictures immediately after taking them, however, when I went to transfer them to a hard drive, this error occurred. When I try to access the files, the computer tells me that there are no files on the disk. I am able to read my other cards in the reader, but not this one. Two questions: 1) Does anyone have any recommendations/programs/options on how I might possible retrieve those files? I need a backup anyway Question 2: Could I get some feedback about best (and worst) CF card readers? . I will thank you now for any and all the assistance and information that I receive regarding this matter. Remember to "Think back--and remember the Future!"

I concur--unless they have gone digital and just want to recover some of the price of their original investment. Your point well taken. Thanks for responding.

Is this legitimate and reasonable for this product? I am desiring a hard copy version of PS as opposed to Internet (at this time)
