If you can find Pentax spotomatic slr with 50mm or 55mm lens and stereo lens adapter, it is perfect for sbs stereoscopic Color prints. Also, images taken with your Kodak stereo with Color print film and processed can be placed sbs.

i too have been interested in 3d since my early years when i got my first sawyer viewmaster. now 70 years later, i've accummulated several hundred reels which my grand children love. my present 3d interest is in both still 3d and 3d videos. (i have a samsung 300m mirrorless camera along with the samsung 2d/3d lens which takes 3d images. and a sony hdr-td20 which takes both 2d and 3d high-definition videos). as for viewing these content, i have invested in two 3d lg hdtv's. both tv's are passive. one is 1080p and the other is 4k.

You should quit wasting your precious time. In the end, it's not the equipment that produces a stunning picture, but the intelligence of the photographer. Both Iphone and DSLR can not take pictures by themselves. I've seen images taken with Iphone's that are art gallery masterpieces, and some that have even made money for the photographer. Same is true for DSLR's. Stop quibbling over which is better. It it does the job for you, it the camera you should be using.

Strange that every year, new $$$ camera's are brought by Thousands or photographer's. They take billion of pictures with them. Sad that only a few hundred images are good enough to be chosen and displayed in photo galleries throughout the world or good enough to win a photo award.

Just curious on average as to how many images where taken by competent photojournalist before there is one image that makes it to the front cover of a magazine today. Today's camera's allow for thousand's of images to be taken with one large memory card. There is no restriction such as film does and still does today. Even with a film magazine and motorized drive on a film camera, you are still restricted to a few hundred pictures before you need to reload. My Canon DSLR handles memory card's capacity of 64GB and up. It will hold 3 to 4 thousand images before I need another memory card. Also, I can now edit the images after capturing them. True, a darkroom technician can also manipulate photo's in the darkroom, but there is greater limitation there. Today, I can create images that lied about my background location by just cutting out my image and pasting it on a new background, etc. Harder to do that inside a darkroom and not being detectable by photography experts.

Seems like you are one of the individuals, that the Canon's, Nikon's, Leica's, etc. loved. They sure are happy to collect your money every year they come out with new products.

The best photo's taken and displayed in winning shows and gallaries aren't always taken with the latest, greatest most expensive gear. It is the photographer that is the intelligences behind a good image, not the camera. What is different today is, with today's equipment photographers can hold the shutter button down and capture several hundred images hoping for one good picture vs the cameras of 30 to 40 year's ago, where the photographer had to take time to analysis the image before pressing the shutter button. It is also true that the best spectacular images showing up on the web are not from expensive DSLR's, but from smartphones which most people have available with them.

I use the Samsung nx300m with 16-50 zoom. It's is very lightweight and shoots very sharp images. Drawback is the shutterlag. A bit faster that most P&S, but not as fast as my Canon 7D. Interchangeable lenses allow me to add the 45mm f1.8 2D/3D lens which I've take many 3D images to watch on my LG 3D TV. One nice feature that the nx300m with the 16-50 zoom does well is macro's and 3D panoramic images.

Just Practice, Practice, Practice! I have done it with my Sony W170, Nikon Coolpix 900, and now with the Samsung NX300M. The latter gives me 3D images when done correctly. Smooth rapid panning, Not too slow and not too fast. That's is why I call for experimentation and practice, once you get the hang of it. Finally, avoid shots that have moving objects like moving cars, people in the picture, fast moving animals, water moving, and trees waving in the wind. The will come out blurry requiring post processing to remove those objects.

Be honest with yourself. Sound like you are not please with the pictures that you are taking with the 18-270mm. Something tells me that you have money burning a hole in your pocket. Honestly, if you improve your visual techniques, you will find the 18-270mm will do the job very well. No amount of money spent on a new lens will improve your pictures if you don't improve your own abilities.
Good Luck.

If this attachment is similar to the Sony QX series which I saw at CES 2014 and CES 2015, I do more research. I thought about purchasing one of these attachments, until I found a review that mentioned that Shutterlag was a big problem, since it took time to upload image to your iphone before you could take the next picture. Thus far, I have not seen a indepth review on the time it takes to upload images to the iphone from the DXone.

I've been using one for 6 months. The reason I got mines is the capability of shooting 3D. (3D is available in Panoramic mode with standard 18-55mm zoom and good 3D with the optional 46mm f1/8 2D/3D lens). Image quality is very good, however, since you are coming from an DSLR, you will find that it takes a lot of time to get use to the mirrorless environment with just a led display and no Viewfinder. Also, shutterlag is a concern if you are shooting weddings in a impromptu mode. I come from a DSLR environment too, and I shoot Canon's, Nikon's and Pentax's. Favorite's are the Canon's for speed. If you can get the NX 16 to 50mm zoom, go for that one. It is better for wideangle shots.

I've the nx300m mirrorless with both the 16-50mm f3.5-5.6 zoom and the 45mm f1.8 2D//3D lens. Images are quite sharp, but not in the class of the high end Nikons and Canons. Lens choice is limited. Weigh is ideal for travel. It is the Rodney Dangerfield of cameras, since not too many people know that Samsung is in the Camera business. I'm happy with this system, even though I also own Canon7D system with many lens. Personally, I am happy using the Samsung camera as my travel companion and love the 3D pictures which it captures, especially bring my travels back to live.

You need a application from Sony. Title Sony Playmemories. This app will import your mts files in either a windows or mac machine. I use it with my Sony HDR-TD20v and my Sony HDR-HD7 camcorders.

The first set is Half-SBS. I used a free app for windows called StereoPhotoMaker. It is a super app. Displayed on a 3D tV it looks great. Good depth display.
