most long distance lens are not quick unless u willing to spend 5k. What I would do shoot them with the camera setting of 5 shots automatically , and at least 1 will get what ur looking for.

If ur using the program mode that is fine for shooting people. U can also use the (A) mode which is automatic where the camera will set it up automatic and that might be just as well if ur just shooting people. If u want a large amount of people and want everybody sharp go to (A) aperture mode and set it at f.8 to F18 say I would use a Tripod then because of the small setting

Not that the Koch Brothers pour billions and Adleson from Vegas doesn't hurt with the mega millions he pours in. Looks like a purchase to me.

I can't believe that Nikon doesn't have VR on there lens but if it is a 1.5 or 2.1 u may not need it as there are very fast lens/ Tokina is no slouch either and it is a descent lens and aif you want a cheaper lens it will work. I have a Nikon 50mm 1'18 lens and it's so fast and I hand hold it and I'm a little shakey and never had a blurred picture with it and even fast action shots.

I don't know how any middle class person ,poor person ,woman , or black person can vote Rep. And not to brag I'm in the top 5%. They stand for just the rich and have no idea what an average person trying to support their family. And with all that said they win plenty of elections. Can't understand it.

When shooting indoors and with not a lot of light I wouldn't use the hood at all. It's really not necessary.
