Very good shot, Kyle! I checked your web site and your pictures are lovely! I kinda think you like dogs! :)

Thank you so much. The dogs are great but a lot like children, very mischievous. :) We had two litters of Akita puppies we sold. We needed some photos for advertisement so I did the best I could.

Nice shot, gives it an eerie feeling. I'll have to get up there with my kayak some time!

Thanks. It's a really cool lake for watersports and things like that. The fishing isn't bad either. :)

I took this photo one morning last week at Lake Waccamaw, N.C. The fog didn't lift until around noon. It was very eerie.

Go to the source - The NIKON site support section - Can I use my lens from my old camera on a new digital SLR Nikon Knowledgebase...

Not a bad idea. It seems like I recall hearing somewhere that some older lenses (fish eye I think) could break the camera's mirror. Not 100% sure though.

Also the AF-S lenses need a camera with a focus motor.

Sorry but this statement is ABSOLUTELY untrue and should be ignored.

You're absolutely right. I meant the AF and changed it accordingly. I caught it almost as soon as it was posted. I have no idea why I put the S designation. Sorry about the misunderstanding. The AF-S is the silent wave motor which works on all the newer Nikon cameras.

Can I use my Nikor film SLR lenses with Nikon Digital cameras

I would have to say yes. The Nikon F-mount lens has been used since 1959. The limitations would depend on your camera. Some of the entry level cameras may not meter the light. Also the AF lenses need a camera with a focus motor. Other than that they should work OK. Give them a try and see what you think. :)

Made another visit to the Central Washington Agricultural Museum. Mostly outdoor exhibits on 15 acres. Talk about visual overload :)

Canon T3i, 10-18 mm lens. Shot in raw, edits in PSE 12 and Nik.

Thanks for viewing!

I really like these. We used to have an old Dodge flatbed about like the one in your photo ('49 model I think). It was the exact same color, blue and rust. :D

Last Saturday following lunch, we took everyone to the Pt. Arena Lighthouse for the tour which included a climb to the top - 185 steps! Still, it wasn't as strenuous as the 308 down and back up at the Pt. Reyes Lighthouse. I preferred the views from the ground. The weather couldn't have been better.

Very nice set!
I still remember a time when the stairs wouldn't have bothered me. :?

It is amazing this phobic misconception still exists about PSCC. You download the program and use it just like always. It doesn't require the cloud to work on your files, only to verify your downloaded software is up to date and paid for.

 You are 100% correct.
