I have a few. I add alittle photshop sometimes to try and create a mytery effect. Some are crystal sharp, but I like to show more than just an image of clarity. I want to involve motion and art. Here are some.
I use a Nikon D90 with Nikkor 105D macro lens and a Nikon SB-600 Speedlight with a $30 (eBay) O-Flash 3/4-ringlight attachment to light my macro subjects so I can achieve maximum DOF.
Thanks for giving all the info. I love these photos!
When I got my Nikon D40 I went to the local camera shop and took the course they offered to get one started. I knew nothing! It was great to have a person right there to set up my camera and tell me the why and what of all my questions. It was great and enabled me to make more sense of the online stuff.
I love no. 2 as well! I love bugs and photographing them. A whole fabulous world in ones own back yard. Definitely save no.2. All you with bug photos look for my thread. I hope I get a chance with a praying mantis some day like you did. Very cool!
Hi here are some more of my experimenting with reflections and light. please let me know what you think. thanks
I think the final shot's composition would look better like this:
I actually kind of like the original better. My eye seems to first go to the post in the foreground, then the front of the boat and the beautiful reflection, then the reflection of the clouds right off the back of the boat draws my eye further back into the photo. Somehow my gaze seems interrupted in the new one. The refection of the houses in the original are more vibrant or something.
Lol! They got this cat cheep from a breeder because it was a sickly kitten. It also had an infection on iits back. You may be able to see the scar. But the cat recovered and he is so wonderful. He loves the baby...playing with her and sleeping with her. She yanks on his tail ans he purrs!
