Stunning photo and congrats to you. Is it possible to see the original photo you started with? Meaning is it just the boat with a different background or did you do the whole cover yourself. I just don't know how these things work. Congrats again however it works.

If you haven't paid for a support package, does that service cost much?

Yes, drag the "iPhoto Library" folder's icon to the iPhoto application's icon on the Dock and drop it when the icon turns dark (meaning that it recognizes that you're dropping something on it). This should only be necessary once, as iPhoto opens the last iPhoto library it saw by default. You can create multiple libraries, and choose the one you want to open by holding down the Option key while you click on the application's icon on the Dock. But that's iPhoto 201, and you're interested in iPhoto 101, 'cause you probably only have the one library.

Well, unfortunately, I looked in the area you referred to in the Home under pictures. Not one item under home. No IPhoto Library anywhere. I hope I have not lost my extensive IPhoto library in space somewhere. Thanks for your help tho.

I'm sorry for your frustration. I feel it too. So did you update to the current version of Mountain Lion?

Yes, your right, it is on the bottom row of the main screen and on the launch pad and both places I tried still give me the same response....asking for which library to open IPhoto with.

I don't know which version of IPhoto it is. The OS is Lion from last year. I have not updated to this year's Mountain Lion. Kind of afraid to as I have read reviews about a few problems. Thanks again folks. You guys really are so generous with you time and info.

Thank you to all who tried. I will have to go to an Apple store today and see if they can help. I'm sure they will try. Calling Apple support is costly and I didn't buy the service package when I bought the computer. I love the product but hate the box it puts the consumer in!!
