I also had a great experience with MPB….both selling a well equipped d7100 and purchasing a new lens for my d750. Their pricing was significantly better than some others. As for Craigslist, I gave up after arranging to meet with an interested party who basically wanted the whole package for less than 1/2 of what I had listed in my ad. I had established my price using Ebay sales of similar equipment. He was the only respondent. So glad I walked away.
I am interested in finding online direct support for managing LR and how to export photos to another site with a better ability to display photos/slideshows. I have used LR for a long time and feel fairly comfortable with editing and creating collections. But I need to TALK to someone for help with the other issues. I'm envisioning something where I can maybe even have someone look at my LR remotely and walk me through things while I watch. I use a Dell Inspiron 15 7000. I have asked fellow photographers I know and it hasn't been very helpful. Thank you for your suggestions in advance.
I thoroughly enjoyed this photo. There are a lot of technically perfect shots of weddings out there but this one captures a special moment for the couple. It has real heart.
Thank you for answering. I guess I ‘d better do some serious camera shopping again!
Why is the banner ad at the top of the page political? I don’t recall seeing partisan political ads before and I don’t like it. I hope it won’t continue.
I’d appreciate any suggestions before I purchase my next lens. I really liked my Tokina lens when I was using the 7100. I like to stay under $1000. Thanks for your help!
It’s a really nice series. And I think the b/w is a great choice.
Where “out West?!” I need to go there! Beautiful photos!
I don’t mean to sound melodramatic, but I gasped as I looked through these. Stunning and inspiring. Than you for sharing them!
My only regret about our winter trip to Yellowstone was not having a longer lens. I used an 18-300 on a d7100. I also suggest getting really fast at setting up your tripod. Frequently the shots were fleeting and I just couldn’t get ready fast enough. We saw the above mentioned animals as well as moose, eagles, rough-legged hawks and a dipper (guide was really excited about that!). Do give careful consideration about warm clothing, layers, and especially, boots. And last, but not least, check out winter gloves for photographers. One of my all-time favorite trips!
Makes it worthwhile to get up early! Beautiful!
THANKS to everyone who has offered information on this. You are great resource! Now to pull it together and give them our credit card 🥴!
Sounds fantastic! Thanks. We’re coming from Wisconsin so that would add a lot of travel time for us.
