1) Every worker is required by law to have a savings account and to put money in it every month.
2) While taking a cab ride from my hotel to the airport I noticed a beeping sound that would play every so often. I asked the cab driver about it and he said that when he drives faster than a certain speed the sound beeps. It is designed to control speed and speed violations were quite costly, according to the driver.
I was there back in 1990.

As others have stated, look at the weight capacity of any monopod you are considering and compare that to the weight or your lens+camera.
