Thank you. I usually do auto when I need a guide to more or less have a great shot, but I am easily distracted and when I go take another shot or something else, I forget I have to set up the feature once again for the next photo. I have a Nikon, But I wanted to try Canon and I guess I must not be to appreciative, because I do not like canon that much, or it could be the model I bought. Anyway I will stick to Nikon, I guess I will have to sell my Canon now for less just to get enough money to buy myself another Nikon to have an extra camera for switching lenses becomes tedious after a while.

This was at Central Park Zoo, I enjoyed the visit even though I was not able to see the whole Zoo. Is not there fault, it was due to my health, but I was able to capture a few great moments. I guess it takes longer when you learn on your own and specially when you are my age and trying to learn new technology.

Is okay I didn't get to see a Buffalo until I went to Kansas, and he wasn't too much of a good shape.. That was when I was in the army, about 35 years ago.

Thank you Amatooh, is kind of hard when I have no transportation, but who knows they are out there and I keep looking. I had seen a few father north , like in Orlando, by the way I am heading up there in about a week, lets see if I get lucky.

Thank you, I enjoy going to Zoo Miami, is one of my favorite places, but it takes me almost four hours to get from my house to the zoo. I usually wind up walking between 5 to 8 miles, is a mile and a half from the main Road to the entrance of the zoo, The public transportation only goes in on weekends , and for me is hard on weekends because there is barely much transportation where I live. I have to take two buses to the train, then when I get to Tri-Rail I get the Metro then another bus to get to the zoo, and when I get there I have to walk a mile and a half. By the time I get to the zoo, I'm tired already, but this is what I love doing.

Thank you, I believe the rocks are not a distraction, if anything they make it intriguing and gives support to the photo, yes the tress are a distraction and maybe I should had raise the shutter speed and the aperture as well to close down some of that extreme light in the back. But thank you as well.

Thank you, I will look into that, and is funny you mentioned the city dump, because while I was staying in Orlando is precisely where I got to see the most of Eagles. Judging by your information which is great, I know now where to look for most of these birds that we barely see around us. It also happens to be that in the Orlando City dump, there were hundred of Black Vulture and Turkey Vultures, and a few other birds.

Thank you, I almost though I would had to travel to the Himalayas to get a good photo of him, lol. I know he means well in his criticism, but I believe what I should had done was raise my aperture a little more and maybe rise my shutter speed then it would had limited so much background light.,

You and I both my biggest lens yet is a 80-400 mm Nikon (second hand), I carry on my bag most of the day, by the time I get home I need a massage to alleviate the pain on my back. I guess at my age I should have a cart to do the traveling, but then that takes the fun out of it.

Hi, there!! Well I shoot Manual all the time, because it precisely does that, it lets me be the judge on how much light I should allow for a determine photo. The climate conditions should be taking as a point to relay on and of course the brightness of the sun. I use Auto when I want to read the cameras suggestion as to a particular shot and I shoot a sample shot for that purpose. As I am still learning I am most optimistic that in a near future I will excel in my expositions.

My favorite bird of all times, the beauty of this majestic bird is without doubt of the best World Wide. Their longevity and their transformation after their 50th years is astonishing. I wish I could see more of them here in Florida.
