Thanks for your comment. You are right in what you've observed.
On the street I saw this vivid mass of red approaching me. It looked good so I quickly tried to grab the shot before she passed. Doubted whether I had captured it but it looked OK on the screen.
I was hugely disappointed when I put it up on the computer and thought exactly as you. I still liked the concept and liked it more when I saw there was a red bus in the top right hand corner as well.
My intention was to paper over my technical abilities with a title that could rescue me, so I thought of Red Rush which conveys speed and motion and would perhaps explain the blur. I also thought to hide the blur in a monochrome image but liked the red so much I kept it.
Hope this explains where I'm coming from.
