Just by process of elimination I was able to get 94% correct. That was fun and very interesting. A couple of the cars I had never heard of.

Try this. Go to google and put in "places to photograph Lake Tahoe" or "photography around Lake Tahoe" and see what comes up. Then click on "images" and see what might appeal to you. I just looked at some of the photos and they are really nice.

revhen...I agree with you. I think Ansel Adams would have loved digital photography had he had a chance to get totally involved with it. I think he did a little of it but it was not like it is now. I've also read what you've read and agree. People seem to think that he didn't manipulate his photos much but of course he did..."dodging and burning" until he got it to look what he wanted to look like, i.e. the zone system and then sold them.

I've been using the Pentax K-30 for a couple of years now and have had no problem with it. Unfortunately I was backpacking with a K-5 a couple of years ago and fell into a stream with the camera. That's why I upgraded to the K-30. If not for that I would still be using the K-5. I tend to agree with the other UHH posters. Mostly what you hear about on this board is Nikon and Canon.

B & W is my favorite medium. This fellow, Fan Ho, was an excellent photographer in my opinion, especially for being self taught. Thanks for sharing these wonderful old photos Jerryc41.

Maybe I'm truly missing something but I've shot in JPEG, RAW /JPEG together and RAW exclusivly and I can't tell the difference except that RAW takes up more space on the computer. I honestly can't tell the difference. People have told me that the difference is that JPEG is like a T. V. dinner and that RAW is like cooking a meal from scratch. But the color is still the same when I put it on photoshop or NIK to look at it. Even after I have taken a photo they both still look the same in the camera. I've also heard that with RAW you build the picture in photoshop or NIK but I still can't see the difference. I shoot a Pentax K-30 but I don't see that that would make a difference. I'm still trying to understand.

Maybe we should vote an Amish man into the White House.

1) They pay attention to detail.

2) They don't lie.

3) They won't cheat people.

To be honest, I see something that resembles a hood that a KKK person would wear. A turbin and gun no.

I totally agree with Foreign Minister Lieberman. For those who like to read buy these two books from Amazon. They aren't very expensive but worth the time to read them. "While Europe Slept" by Bruce Bawer is one. Mr. Bawer relocated to one of the Scandanavian countries. He's gay and wanted his sexual freedom because he felt his way of life was being repressed in the U. S. By the time of his relocation the Muslims had moved in and were slowly taking control. The other book is "Cruel and Unusual Punishment" by Nonie Darwish. She was born in Egypt and was a Muslim for 30 years before relocating to America. She gives the history of Islam, how it came about, how they live their lives and what they want to accomplish. When the Musllims move into a country they want their way of life to be the dominate one. Again, I agree with F. M. Lieberman

New York Steve, that's an interesting thought. I don't recall the article saying that but you could very well be right.

I think this has been around for a couple of years. By now the law should have figured out what the "box" is and how to disable it.
