Here is a shot of a bike on the road less traveled.

What software you have
Light room and Photoshop
Here is a shot of a composite I did for my brothers BMX kids.
I don't shoot as many weddings as most of the photographers on here. So my opinion may not mean anything. But I believe if your going to make a black and white image for a bride it has to have meaning and or emotional value to overcome the brides need to show off all her wonderful colors she has put so much time and thought into. Here are two examples of emotional images and why I chose black and white for one and color for the other.
I chose B&W for this shot so no colors distracted from the Father of the Bride

I chose color for this shot because none of the colors draws you away from the Bride and her Father.

Looking for some help. I have to shoot a group cheerleader shot, but Im wanting to do a cool composite. So any ideas would be helpful. And if you have any examples that would be great. We are looking at about 20 girls. Thanks in advance for your help.
I havnt been on here in a long time. And I saw your post so had to stop and look. I love everything about both of these images. Perfect poses and composition. I really like the subtle use of tule. It gives a little mystery to the shots. And your focus on her eyes makes these come together perfectly.
Had one of my friends daughters come over, she wanted to take some model shots and we put this shot together. Hope you like it.
I have two of the. yn600rt flashes. If you over work them they will over heat and the yn600rt has issues with the 5dIV but from what I have read the yn600rt II will solve both of these problem. as a side note I use these two Youngnuo yn600rt with my Canon ex600rt and transmitter and they work just fine without any problem. I did find that using eneelop batteries is a great inprovimement over Duracell or energizers.
Went to a workshop, put on by Brian DeMint the other day he is a local photographer in Southwest Missouri. Brian put one of our local models in some yarn and other items he puts together, and here is what I came away from it after a few shots. If you get a chance to take one of his work shops it is a great learning expeience.
Thank you to all that commented. He is like the best baby over a month old and I only have heard him cry once. Why could have my kids been like that.
My daughter had a little boy over the holidays, and they have made his room a pirate seen so we made this shot for team. As title says they named him Cash....
I really love this one. The second one to me looks better.
This is all starting to make sense to me know, the wife and I were doing some baby shots of my newest grandson the other night, one light off camera and after we had a few good ones she said just put the flash on the camera and get some normal baby pictures.
Normal pictures you either have the flash in the hot shoe because you don't have enough light " indoors" or you just shoot the shot of the person without any consideration of how the natural light plays on the persons face. That in my option is a snapshot.
A portrait whether it is captured by a master forming the light to the subjects face with natural light or with studio strobe or a apprentice learning light is a portrait. Why are Rembrants such important portraits, because of the use of light in his paintings.
Is it possible to make a portrait without any consideration of how the light falls on a person face most definitely yes we all have taken that snap shot and it was a beautiful portrait, but if we look at how the light fell on the persons face in review we will see it was portrait lighting even if it was on accident.

I was wanting to go out and try a new strobe I got to shoot some high speed sync shots. We were originally going to shoot in direct sunlight at 2 in the afternoon in the middle of a downtown street. But due to high winds 40to 50mph winds I found a Alley between two building and here are a couple of the shots. all done with one light.
