I am sorry I didn't keep a copy of your photo (never do). I did what I could - posted it to you - deleted the picture from my files.
It's 1:00am in the morning here now. I will download your original again tomorrow and do it again for you.

Thanks and have a good night.

I took this shot at a bonfire last weekend and I would love to toss it but the nephew thinks its is soooo cool. Would anyone like to see what editing they can do to make it look a little sharper or at least remove the red shake lines away from their faces....I have seen some excellent editing done by you folks so any help would be greatly appreciated...thanks

Wow..I work overnights and just check my responses and again thank you all for all the great advise. It is so helpful. I have shot hs basketball for 4 years now. my nephew is a top Va player. He graduates this June and has a full ride to play basketball for Navy= we are thrilled but I am determined to get better shots of him. I feel flash(which was suggested) is out of the question' especially when you are on the court. That just seems obnoxious to the players and I have heard them say that about people that use it when they play. Not to mention the attention drawn to you and your light show. I am going to take ALL into consideration and get a lens at the end of this month. The Naval academy has a much larger arena (and hopefully at little better lighting)so I will be able to go to the floor (corners) to get that front shot of him shooting. He is an excellent 3 point guy so the dunks are not as plentiful as the behind the line action. Keep an eye on that Navy Basketball team. They may not be good now but when this boy gets there and plays in the fall 2013..You will notice Navy HAS a basketball team. Sorry to brag but this boy is awesome. Thanks again and I look forward to sharing my decision with you all when I purchase a lens.

Thanks all you for the help. I really appreciate it. I really need to stay under$850. I would LOVE the 70-200mm 2.8 II USM but I can not spend that much. That is why I noticed the EF200mm f/2.8 II USM @ $819. then there is the EF 70-200 f/4L usm for $709. What do you think about those. and I already have my iso up as high as my cheap trick goes and shoot at 1/320 or higher when it lets me. come on Gator don't you have a used 70-200 2.8 laying around you need to run up the coast and sell to me??

Hello all you helpful people..I am looking for advice on what lens to get to shoot basketball games.I shoot from the stands but may start shooting closer(like under the basket) I have a Canon Rebel XS and I usually use my 75-300mm 1:4-5.6 lens (no extras like IS) but they move so fast and light is dim that I can not satisfy myself on the outcome. I shoot on fluoresent because of the lights. on manual mode at 1600iso, AV4, 1/320 (I use my cameras light meter a lot) What I want is a crisp shot with everyone in focus. I am looking at purchasing a 200mm f/2.8 II usm...would that be what I need(to still shoot from the stands) or what would be recommended under $850. If you have a rec on a lens for shooting under he basket..I'd love that too. I will show you a couple shots that refer to the fast movement I can not stop with my cheap lens..and camera but I can not afford a new camera YET.Thanks in advance=you all are great.

There were two Indians and a Polish fellow walking along together in the desert, when, all of a sudden, one of the Indians took off and ran up this hill to the mouth of a cave. He stopped and hollered into the cave... "Woooooo! Woooooo! Woooooo!" and then listened very closely until he heard the answer... "Woooooo! Woooooo! Woooooo!"

He then tore off his clothes and ran in to the cave.

The Polish fellow was puzzled and asked the other Indian what that was all about, was that Indian goofy or something?

"No", said the other Indian. "It is mating time for us Indians and when you see a cave and holler, "Woooooo! Woooooo! Woooooo!", and get an answer back, that means that she is in there waiting for you.

Well, just about that time, the other Indian saw another cave. He took off and ran up to the cave, then stopped and hollered, "Woooooo! Woooooo! Woooooo!" When he heard the return, "Woooooo! Woooooo! Woooooo!", off came the clothes and into the cave he went.

The Polish guy starts running around the desert... looking for a cave to find these women that the Indians had talked about. All of a sudden, he looked up and saw this great big cave. As he looked in amazement, he was thinking, Man! Look at the size of that cave! It's bigger than the ones that those Indians found. There must really be something really great in this cave!"

Well... he took off up the hill at a super fast speed with his hopes of ecstasy and grandeur. He got in front of the cave and hollered, "Woooooo! Woooooo! Woooooo!" He was just tickled all over when he heard the answering call of,"WOOOOOOOOO! WOOOOOOOOO!! WOOOOOOOOO!!! Off came his clothes and, with a big smile on his face, he raced into the cave.

The next day, in the newspaper, the headlines read, "NAKED POLACK RUN OVER BY FREIGHT TRAIN!!!"

Do you have anything better to do than make fun of groups of people? You are a sad, pathetic person who must have been a bully in your youth. At least on the internet no one can hit you back. Your mother must be so proud of you.

Without a sense of humor....you must have sad life. Loosen up and enjoy life so your mom will not worry about YOU
