Well done! There is so much subtitle irradiance and beautiful color in these birds in the right light, and you caught it along with graceful action. Thanks for sharing.

It's amazing what the camera sees that we do not. There are lots of Ibis there now. You took a great picture of one!

I'm able to get to Sacramento twice a year - once in January and once in mid-summer. I make it a point to get to Yolo Bypass on each visit. The Ibis are incredibly abundant there as are so many other birds not seen in the East. Thanks for your comment - it is appreciated!

We were all so glad that you let us know that you are out and that the "L" version is moderately less sharp than the 180. WAS ANY OF THIS INPUT FROM YOU AT ALL PERTINENT to this member's post about the 100mm?

illininitt - teacherdad48 began this trying to offer an item for sale. You need to be ashamed of yourself for turning his simple post into and idiotic, selfish, thoughtless, stupid diatribe about you being a suffering draftee 50 years ago. You are simply a sick coward and you owe teacherdad48 an apology.

teacherdad48 - I myself do apologize to you for my participation in this post.

The Sigma 18-250 is MORE than good enough for me. Photography is a hobby....not my LIFE! Take the camera out maybe 3-4 times a YEAR!

So then, about your irrelevant post here, your motivation was just to be annoying? You succeeded in that. Enjoy taking your snapshots because your snapshots "is a hobby....not my LIFE! Take the camera out maybe 3-4 times a YEAR!"

Yes stick to that but know this...

Your whole equipment, specially the lens is INFERIOR and you got what you paid for. A quick look at the GARBAGE you post easily corroborates this. Not a single SHARP image.....NONE. Of course you post mostly in an equally GARBAGE riddled section called the Photo Gallery. A place where you will surely get the positive reinforcement the likes of you crave. So if you thought you sounded smart, think again, because all you did was to make an epic fool of yourself. Idiot.
Yes stick to that but know this... br br Your who... (show quote)

Thank you, I'm so tired of negative postings here. It's interesting when you look back on some users previous posts and you see a trend of negativity.

Thank you! I've pretty much stopped participating in posting here because of so many of these annoying and thoughtless posts.
