I shoot with a Canon 60d. When looking through the view finder I get breath fog and smudges on the LCD monitor which makes seeing the finished shot somewhat difficult.
Any suggestions?
Yes I have had that problem! Try using a thin slice of cucumber over the surface, wipe of excess gently, leaving a smear on the surface. Also excellent for mirrors, cleaning leather shoes etc.
sorry about the misspelling Ken.I'm a Canon man myself and dont think I've ever used that high an ISO ,in fact I tend to forget that particular option quite often along with where I've put me keys and me glasses!![/q

That is fine, no hard feelings Adicus, I sincerely appreciate your comment. I even forgive you for using a Canon. :-P  8-) Regards Ken

Hi Blackie, Welcome to this group. I am also in Auckland but not retired although past that age now and still plumbing and taking or making photographs when I can.The young sparrow looks a little soft but the Waxeye is very nice and sharp. Waxeyes seem to have disappeared from the Howick area , wonder where they have gone? maybe to you.

Hi Adicus, thank you for your reply. I am over on the North Shore, Pinehill to be exact. We have a good number of Waxeyes, they like the bottle brush and honeysuckle. The young sparrow, was photographed with Nikon 18-300 @ 1/1000 ISO of 1600 F5.6 0.00EV with a Nikon D3200 approximately 7M and heavily cropped, with out any other correction. I brought this camera and lens in Vancouver, when I was there last. I normally use a D7000 with the Nikon 18-300. Not to be knit picking, my nickname is spelt with a y not ie, as the ie had been used up on IHUG, when I joined 20 + years ago.

Hello, I am a retired builder, with an interest in photography. I have always been fascinated with all aspects of photography from a very early age, when my grandmother bought me a Kodak Box Brownie at the age of 8yrs!
I live in Auckland N.Z. Married 43 yrs, I have four adult children. My past time besides photography is buying and renting property. My wife and I enjoy travelling.
Looking forward to being a part of the UglyHedgeHog Photography gang.

Very young sparrow
