I LOVE spiders! You need to re-post your photos, because Golden Silk orbweavers (Nephila clavipes), images #1, #2, & #3, sit in their webs, head-down.

Thanks for pointing to correct name.
I often take pictures from different angle of view. In these particular cases I rotated only picture #1. Pictures #2 and 3 appears as original.
Thanks.

[quote=ebbote]Nora, there are far better things to shoot than spiders, I hate spiders, please don't shoot spider, I am scared of spiders, BTW good pictures.

I am scared spiders also, but it is interesting to take pictures. Thanks.

This week I went to the Brazos park and was lucky to take pictures of banana and fishing spiders. I found some interesting info about fishing spiders on the web. I would like to share with you photos and the link about fishing spider.

Morning Nora, So enjoyed all of your photos. My favorite was #3. Wondering if someone could comment on how to get all of table items in focus. Teapot seemed a bit blurred. I have trouble with this when I am shooting. The table setting and colors are so beautiful. Sandy

Sandy, the best way to get all table items in focus is to use a focus stacking technique (make a multiple shots with focusing on different items and then combine them into single shot using Photoshop). If you do not like to do a focus stacking, then you should use a small aperture values like 10 to 16 to increase depth of field. Also using camera with small sensor will help to increase depth of field.
From my point for this type of shots not necessarily all items must be in focus. It depends on your vision.
Thanks a lot for visiting my page and comment.
