Thanks for sharing these wonderful images. Did you do HDR manually or does your camera step through the shots for you?

I shoot with the D4 and it will do the 9 shots or 7 shots I want automatically and then I set the exposure latitude I want and usually go with .7 or 1 ev between shots.

What is the best polarizing filter out there? Does it make a difference. I need to buy one for my new lens (82mm) and they come in all prices.

I use the Lee System. It is not cheap but it will fit all my lenses and I can use it for the ND filters as well. I bought the expandable hood as well. Link http://www.leefilters.com/index.php/camera#nd-videobox

More poor that we are surrounded, all around, by beauty.
I only have a very spaces knowledge of the HDR prowess and I'm a long way from beginning to attempt it. But I'm very grateful that you took the time to do so and share your image lo f what you saw.
Bill

Thanks Bill. I like the processing part of the HDR and trying to pull as much information out of the pics as I can without going too far.

Both are incredible shots in my opinion! This is a case where HDR really shines. The composition, exposure, clarity and detail are beautiful.

Thank you very much......
