AL FR ......In response to above I am using both AA and the Canon lithium batteries that you can purchase that go into the battery tray. I have 2 types of trays. Im not sure what the sleep mode would have to do with the charge...like I said...,.if I remove the battery grip...or just the batteries that go into it its fine...once I leave them in...they go dead....I dont know why but in the past on here I recall some one saying the same thing...I just cant remember what they did to resolve the issue....

Hello my neighbor, Gwen. I love your photos and creative ideas! Thank you for adding me..... can't believe we are sooo close.

I don't think the EXIF data transfers over to Flickr. There is some info though like camera type.... maybe a bit more. Enlarge a photo then look at the info on the right hand side. Thanks for looking, blessings, Ernie

The one thing I did not like about the Fastpack is that the tripod carrier is on one side causing the weight to be lopsided. The Flipside (500) tripod carrier is centred on the back giving more even weight distribution.

If you are looking for a true hiking backpack look at the Deuter brand. I use one when I go into the backcountry. Also Trekpak makes inserts for the Deuter Freerider (http://trekpak.com/mens-freerider-pro-30).

aw...states page not found...that bites! :(

I have the Lowepro Fastpack 250. The lower compartment holds lots of camera gear, and the upper section can hold ... whatever. I just ordered a Lowepro Pro Runner 350. It's a bit larger, without the upper section for ... whatever.

Most times like "spiderwebs" growing inside the lens. Other times it can be small spots though.

ok, so dumb question....my lenses are new...but one day will be old...so, what do you do about it should they become that way? Is there anything that you can do? just wondering...if its to that point just toss them....or are they salvageable?
