Maybe just maybe the duck a common golden eye
The red head a house finch the other a female house finch. Or maybe a variegated fly catcher. I search through the Audubon app looking. It takes a few different angles to really tell. We have some very good birds here some one will help out!!!
Thanks for your reply. I was thinking that the 2nd and 3rd were a type of finch but the 1st I was not sure of. Where I saw him there are Golden Eye Ducks and he is the only young one that I saw there.
These are some bird pictures I've taken in the last couple of weeks and I was trying to figure out what type they are? Any help will be apprecitated.

Think it is an Ermine Moth.
Thanks for the info. This was the only time that I have ever seen one. I do not think they are very common in Maine.
I was reviewing some pictures taken earlier this year and was just wondering what type of moth this was.
Great shots from a fellow Mainer. I really like the willow.
Here are some of the butterflies and dragonflies that I have taken in the last few days. Most of these were taken in my backyard. Hopefully you like them.
The second monarch landed at just the right time.
Its not the best butterfly shot but I really like his markings.
I just like the way he was sitting and waiting
This guy had his special friend attached while he was flying. I guess he got tired and had to land for a break before he was off again.
I think he has some really cool markings.
A different dragonfly.
The same dragonfly and I like design in his wing.
A different type of dragonfly.
Great looking bird and capture.

I,(Being new to this an all) posted this in the wron place and am waiting for the chorus of tut tuts and shame on yous. What do you think of the focus and crop of my owl captured at the raptor centre in Duncan B.C. here on vancouver island. Should I crop the hand out? What about the composition. Note it looks like he/she is smiling.
Pentax K-5, ISO 800, f-16 1/640 Pentax dal 55-300mm
Experiment by taking the hand out and see what you think. If you like it better then keep it without the hand. Whatever you like is the way to go. Great picture either way you deciede.
The dragonfly is very nice.
Excellent shots, makes me wish I lived closer.
