Looking for an all-in-one fax, scan, copy, photo print, etc. What would you suggest under $200 that uses hi-cap individual ink cartridges. I like Brother, HP new or refurb.

Thanks so very much. It followed with so much more from BB King, Albert, Jeff Healey, Clapton and so many others. I spent two hours watching and listening. Thanks again.

Came across this barn one day. Did some pp work to make it look better. What do you think all criticisms are welcome - both good and bad. Thanks Jerry I hope this came out this is my first time posting a pic - if it didn't what did I do wrong?

I visited a friend yesterday and got a quick pose from her pooch in the dandelion lawn.

The late afternoon light made the dandelions look almost ethereal.

Poor photos. Dande's are all out of focus or slightly moving. Try using a tripod and faster shutter speed

Below is a photograph of a Dahlia presented with two different backgrounds. The second background has been darkened and I am curious as to which one you prefer?

Settings: ISO 200, 105mm, f/18, 1/60 with flash

Additional comments, critique, and suggestions welcomed. Thanks 8-)

Really tough as they are both great. Personally I like #1 which gives it some natural but hidden background. Both so very nice. Thanks.

Thanks for all the responses. In spite of what you all testify too the price difference makes it a tough decision. I have only 1 "L" (70-200 f4. I have tried some others and can't really see the hulabaloo regarding "L". If I were a pro-sports photographer on the side lines and making a lot of money it might be easier to justify the cost.

What is the differences between "L" lenses and the non - "L" lenses. Huge difference in price. Can you really see the difference or see it only on highly expensive laboratory optical glass analyzers. Could Canon or Nikon, or others ever make a bad lens or sell lesser hand glass.

I finally bit the bullet and went full frame. After much thought and manipulation of funds, I went with a used Nikon D3 and a 24-70mm 2.8 lens. So far I really like the camera and lens. Any and all critique is welcome.

Except for the squirrel the pics are beautiful and it certainly seem you know how to use your new camera and the controls. Really vibrant pics and dof is just perfect

Hi,
I have a Canon G11 which is an amazing small walk around Camera with brilliant results .
Problem is the inbuilt Flash is Totally Useless except for when the subject is 3 feet in front .
I can get a Dedicated Clip on Flash but is in the Region of £100 - £150 Canon 27ex .
Does any one know of a Good Same size camera with a Decent flash I can buy as the expense of the Flash seems too much .
You may say that one can not expect much from a tiny flash on board but I used to have a Sony DSCV1 which had an amazing TTL flash built in ..

My main use is for Outdoor Festivals at night and the odd Dancehall .
Thanks
Hi, br I have a Canon G11 which is an amazing smal... (show quote)

If you turn up the ISO you will increase the distance the flash can go out. Also isn't there a way to increase the flash intensity from a dial on the top left of the camera.

I have this on my G10 and my flash is TTL (as is yours) and have never found it underpowered. Give CANON a call and ask for technical support and they will have the answer. Unfortunately the number is 1 800 OKCANON which may only be a US number. Any number with an 800 is a free call in the US.
If you would like send me a PM and I'll call them for you.

Does anyone sell prints framed and unframed at street fairs/carnivals using a 10x10 Pop Up Tent. If yes is this a money making proposition or a waste of time. I'd like to be able to sell 4 or 5 big prints a day to earn $100 to $200. Of course it will depend on how well the promoter has worked to attract people for the day.
