A few more photos of the Wild Horses of colorado. In the high desert of north west colorado its rolling hills with mountains in the background,,very seldom can You grab a skyline pic like the first one..

Kenny, I love the shot of the Son of Picasso. Those tiny spots he has along with the big ones, means that he is probably Homozygous. In the Spotted Saddle Horse breed, that would be a great thing to be. Among Mustangs, it probably makes no difference.

The two horses below him are Bay Toveros evident by the red color on the body with the black points (mane/tail/legs) and the fact that the color goes all the way to the hoof on at least one leg.
You probably already know the color combinations, but some others here may not.
Beautiful shots!

Kenny, I have raised them for 48 years, broke a lot of them myself as a younger woman, showed for years, trail rode and all that stuff. I even had one that bucked for about 10-15 seconds EVERY day, when you first got on him. I thought that was fun and told hubby "look, I stayed on more than 8 seconds", but we knew he never bucked as hard as a rodeo bronc! I quit being the first one on them about 5 years ago...no reason except, I'm just getting too old for that rough play! I am 74 and all I do now is ride for pleasure. My blue roan is very high spirited, but if you know him pretty well, he is totally managable. People in our town have laughed a lot about me being a "satin, silky, lacey" lady and still have done such crazy things.
:D[/quote]Hope when l get a few more yrs on me l look that good on a horse Jo,,l have never owned a gaited horse but my uncle raises a few he really likes them,,Kenny

Ummmmmm, Kenny, if you have owned that many, you know plenty about horses!!! I wouldn't have bothered you with what you probably already knew if I had known you had owned horses. I thought you were just a spectator, not a paricipant.
I don't guess it matters if the photos are as nice as yours!!!
