I love popcorn. I make it taste like the theater does. I use coconut oil with flavacol 2045 popcorn salt. I use a popcorn kettle. that's all I do. You can also use flavacol 2045 on french fries like some fast food places.

I use a T3i and I have left my switch on for A whole day. I turn the display off to save battery life. I have had the batteries last me the entire day doing this. I have had no problems at all. This trick saves battery life. Now I also have a duel battery grip attached to the camera body. I sugest getting one. Now it will ad weight to the camera, but not much. I have gotten over 600+ shots on two batteries doing this plus some video shots as well.
