Sony 18-105 g lens on my a6000. I also have the 18-200 for more reach but the 18-105 is used about 90% of the time.

I have a Canon 7d and love my 70-200mm f4L IS lens. Its light, has very accurate and fast focusing and I use it 90% of the time. This lens produces very sharp images and its well sealed to the elements. Someday I may add a full frame 5d mk111 but for now I like the extra reach with the crop sensor. I shoot winter sports [ skiing and snowboarding] and in the summer wild life and bif.

If you go on e-bay and do a search for Sony nex adapters you will fine them priced in the $10 range. Everything has to be done in manual mode, but I'm old school and use to it.

I also have the adapter to use Canon ef and ef-s lenses on the Sony nex6. I also have some older pentax lenses with a m42 adapter to use on the Sony. Why keep it simple?

I bought the lens to use on my Sony nex6 and it does a great job. The adapter for the Sony does not have a glass element. But since I also have a Canon 7d I thought it would be nice to use it on that camera also.

I knew about the focusing being manual, but it does have focus confirm. To get my exposure correct I use aperture priority but I have to set my exposure value for minus 3 stops. why is this?

I have a canon fd 70-210 f4 lens that I would like to use on my canon eos 7d. I bought the adaptor on line from China. It has a glass element and a lock-open ring. I planned to use it with aperture priority but the lens always stays wide open. Is it possible to use the lens with different f stops?

Buy a Sony nex6, forget the film and with cheap adaptors you can use your old Leica lenses. You will never look back. I shot 35mm starting back in the 50's and I do miss the smell of Kodachrome but I don't miss film.
