Thank you for you quick responses.
I will try one of those.

I recently joinged Ugly Hedgehog.
I am having trouble viewing all of the entries for the weekly contests. I apologize if this topic has been brought up a hundred times, but I thought I would ask it again.
I usually can only go through the first 50-70 images before my browser freezes up. Does anyone else have this problem? I would like to vote for my favorites but I can't even see all of them.
Any hints that I could try?
By the way, this is an incredible website. There is so much to see and learn and people are so generous with the tips and constructie suggestions. I can understand why it is so popular.
Thank you for the well explained of your detailed process you shared with us. I am attempting to push myself into using my MANUAL on my Power Shot camera. And if I like my results as well as enjoy the experience, I will later buy a DSLR.
I probably would have bought a new camera with kit already but heard so many bad things about the lens that I was going to buy the body first and lens later. Maybe you convinced me otherwise with your spectacular image.
This was a very clear explanation. And since you did that so well, maybe you could write one on using aperture to get a shallow definition.
I hope that is not a lot to ask.

This is a beautiful image with great teals and greys.
However, all of the pretty water is going to run right off of the page because your horizon is rather tilted.
Title: Warm Concrete Curves
Taken at the West Badin Springs Resort in West Badin, Indiana.
I chose this particular photo because of the warm and artistic nature of this concrete barrier on this porch. Concrete isn't always linear and cold.
