I like the cropped view best, as the tree is not needed and distracts from the primary subject. That said, I have to go with the third image that is done in color. Upon close view, the ravages of time as reflected in the weathered and worn paint is shown in greater depth and detail with the color version. This is very true when looking at the corners where the paint is completely gone, with the raw wood showing, something that the black and white cannot fully show. Also, with the color version, the window glass seems to have a specular quality that truly says old window glass, while the black and white shows the window glass as being flat and unreal.

I love the cropped third image in color. . .that is my opinion, and I am sticking fast to it. Very nice image that I would love to see done as a large 20x24 art piece. Good work, good eye.

I agree with everything he said.......

Sorry, I thought this was the same camera as your other ad. D700 and D7000 I got confused........but if you do decide to sell that lens separate, please contact me first!

I see you haven't got the lenses with this ad. Are you keeping the Tokina 11-16 lens? If you are selling it separately, please let me know, I am still interested in it.

Good post to provoke the different viewpoint.

And good pictures to show how.

#3 looks like shot tower in mall in Melbourne ?

Correct, NSWalter. Thank you for looking.

Love all the photos, but that one is my favorite photo! You took it in a mall? That is amazing! I was wondering where that was at.....

Chairman, I have been busy with family and not been able to get on the forum much. I am just seeing this thread and thank goodness I was able to continue to read until you posted what you wanted everyone to see.....otherwise the wait would have drove me crazy! LOL
Now I HAVE to go find my cables or remember how to get my Play Station on the internet so that I can view this apparently fantastic website on my 52" plasma screen.

Should I prepare for the experience by having a parachute close by or can I have my snuggie and a cup of hot chocolate? LOL

You guys are so impatient! You all had to only wait for less than 48 hours, time given to sort out the connections. So pleased you can join in. You won't regret it, whichever way you prepare for the experience.

Maybe I should watch it from my computer first. That way I maybe won't feel the need for a parachute! LOL I have often felt the need for scuba gear watching the under water shows in HD! LOL Oh, I can't find my cables either. So that means I have got to figure out the Play Station.....and that's not a good thing at all!!!

I have had 3 photos printed on metallic paper. One was a old house, one of two rocking chairs and one of a train. Metallic only looked good on the one with a train. The rest looked silly with the metallic in them. But the train was awesome!

I have the Tamron 18-270 and it does creep, but only when you hold the camera down. Believe it or not, you will get use to it quickly and either hold the lens when shooting in a downward position or locking it when you aren't using it..........

I bought my first DSLR through Wolf/Ritz Camera here in town (Augusta, GA) and got great service. They even offered free classes for beginners and helped me many times when I went in with questions. They are good people.

But once I found all the great people here at UHH, I no longer went to them with questions.

But they never stocked many cameras or lenses and it seemed to take a long time to order through them. So when I heard about B&H through UHH, I started ordering from them and got my orders faster than using Wolf/Ritz. I would have most likely kept doing business with them if I could have been able to feel and touch products but since everything had to be ordered, it was pointless.

I feel like I get excellent advice from everyone here to be able to order something, sight unseen and know the item will work for me. I hate that they are going out of business but I haven't been there in almost a year,so it isn't going to affect me.........
