You could do that in FastStone Image viewer. It has preset frames you can use and you can place a border in black or what ever color you choose. It's a free program that you can download and very easy to use.
Even though I have PS, Lightroom and other PP programs, I use FastStone for quick and light PP work.
Thank you so much you guy's. At least I have something to work with now.
Does anyone know how to do this effect???

Hello Group,
I have a Macbook Pro and a Nikon D800E. What is the best editing software on the market that is compatible with the two? All opinions greatly appreciated. Thanks :)
Eugene, Aperture, for photo editing is made for mac. As a professional it's the perfect combination. For portraits, weddings, commercial work and stock photography it's great. It has everything you'll ever need. I use it almost everyday.
Good luck.
Hi Gerald,
With a P&S camera you can't do much. With your T2 camera you would need a haze or polarizing filter to cut through the haze. Always take a manual incident meter reading before leaving the ground. I hope that helps.

While flying in my Cessna 172, I took his pic with my Sony point and shot camera over the wind turbine generators in the farm land. I should have taken my Canon T2i, but can anyone help me as to what settings I should have had in order to reduce the overcast skies?

You are correct photosmoke. Photo made outside with overcast sky on a white paper towel. I did several different version's of it but I like this one the best. I will make a good stock shot.
I'm having fun today and just finished this photograph. Would anyone like to guess what it is?
Suggestion: You should work your equip. from a photo vest not a camera bag or case. you'll be strapped in your seat with a shoulder harness. You can not reach your case on the floor to change anything. But, you can pull gear out of a vest. You should also use a power downed flash because everything in the cockpit can be dark. That way you can balance the outside light with the inside light.
You'll have lots of fun, I've been there on a B-17
I just want to give a shout out to Rick Riggins. He just saved me money & time with a lens problem. Here is my email to him.
Hi Rick,
Before sending this lens off to Nikon repair I'd like to give you a shot. I'm a hog member with a problem. My workhorse lens a Nikkor AF-S 18-200 VR 3.5/5.6 will not focus at infinity. Close range seems to be ok. Can you give me a repair cost and a time line when I could have it back in my hands. I've read some good things about your work.

And this was his reply:
Hi Paul
I hate to turn down business but before sending it anywhere, check and see if the front lens grouping has become unscrewed. Thats what this sounds like and theres no sense sending it anywhere if you dont need to. Just make sure it is screwed in tight. The 18-200 is a nice lens but they do have a couple of problems in common. One of them is the AF motor going bad and the other is the front element coming unscrewed.

And this was my reply to him:
Hello Rick,
All I can say is bless you, bless you! The front lens element was the problem, it was very loose and just needed to be tightened. I wish I lived closer, I would come over and give you a big hug. Any equipment problems in the future you will be my first call. Do you fix Quantum power packs, radio controls and Nikon SB28, SB800 speed lights?
Thank you sooooo much.
Paul,
Keep this man busy with all your repairs.

I've had similar situations with my D3100. Usually, it was because the ISO was too low for the aperture and shutter speed selected.
I can't remember if it ever happened on AUTO mode. But, if it did it was because the camera had not finished writing the file to the SD card.
Hey RV, you have to remember that if these new digital camera's don't like what your shooting, they won't shoot!!! So remember you have to please your camera first. I think I heard that from an old time film guy!

Very nice, Paul - night shots of the 'row' are common, but yours is pretty good, a slightly different POV than most.
Thanks Fred, it took a couple of hrs. to make that shot.
