The lens flare in this image is pretty distracting. Suggestions on how to deal with it?

Thanks!

Is the device that attaches to the hot shoe DIY or commercially available? If the latter, is there a piece you recommend?

Thanks for all the additional information. You have got me excited about macro over here!

My gosh, these are wonderful! The light is excellent and pleasing. Thanks so much for sharing all this. Nothing better in life than a natural teacher with a generous spirit.

If I may re-ask that third question. It appears there is a mount under your flash enabling it tilt forward. What is that?

Thank you so much for this information! A couple questions . . .

Both images look DIY. Are they just two different containers/diffusers?
What does lining the inside with tinfoil do?
It looks like you have some kind of a mount that attaches to the bottom of the flash to enable it to tilt forward. What is that?

Thanks so much for this great assist!

It's been a while since I've checked in on this forum. Since then, I have seen two diffusers online that I wonder about for macro photography. One is the AK diffuser, and the other using a mag bounce by magmod. Any opinions on these? Thanks!

I have a pencil drawing that I would like to ask an AI program to turn into a photo-like representation. Please recommend an AI program for the task. Thanks.

"Natural History" published my photo/story of the story of Gosling Sandhill - a little Canada Goose gosling that was adopted by a Sandhill Crane family. This is the only documented case of Sandhills adopting a bird of another genus.
It was published last March, so I'm a little late in posting this!

As soon as I read your response, it dawned on me that I had used the wrong pixels per inch setting when creating the new document. Thanks for jarring my brain awake!!
