Did you see the giant Ducky in Tacoma waters this weekend?
Thanks Will. Yes, more bubble shots please!
Hey Will,
Not only do I like your bubble shot because it is so unique, I'm intrigued because you are from the Shenandoah area. I'm currently tracing my ancestors, the Orndoff's, Orndorffs, or Ohrendorff's, and they are from there and around Harpers Ferry area. Do you happen to know any Orndoff's? I know this country is large, but you never know when you run across just the right tip which leads to an unfolding of events.
Thanks, I can give you my e-mail if you like.
In the meantime, more bubble shots!
Hal
That is a great shot. Happy Easter to you and thanks for posting.

They are great companions and have us humans trained very well. Thank you all for the nice comments.
Thank you all. Animals are fun.
He always looks directly into your eyes until you discern what he wants. And it seems as though he can tell time, as it's the only way we know what he wants! Great companion and loves the grand kids.
Waiting for his lunchtime treat!
Hi Colin, I love the shots. Very well done. But I do have a question. Why are there no trees in all of that beautiful area?
HI Mike,
The very last picture reminds me of the spot that we used to visit, although I'm sure it is not the exact spot. That country is very interesting country even though it looks dry and brown. When we visited our relatives along the river, we kids used to ride horses. But the horses often wouldn't go where we wanted because of rattle snakes. I remember one time my uncle picked up a watering trough for the horses and a big old rattler was under it shaking his rattle at him. The summers were idyllic as the ladies would cook up a huge dinner at 12 noon and all the guys out working in the fields would come to "supper" when she rang the dinner bell. My favorite was the ice tea. cool and refreshing.
Thanks for posting these photos and allowing me to step back in time for a few minutes. I live in the Seattle area which has totally different weather than eastern Washington.

My cousins used to farm alongside the Snake River near Clarkston WA. and Lewiston ID. To reach the river, you descended about 2 miles of switchbacks from the plateau above. In the 50's, when we drove the old Buick back up from the river to the top, the car always overheated and we'd have to carry water and rest every so often. But the scenery was well worth it and so were the cousins!
HI Angela,
Well, I could be mistaken. It wasn't the wires going down the side of the building, they were tucked up under the gutters next to the fascia. You can't see the wire but you can see the little tiny bulbs all along that area. I enlarged the photo quite a bit and maybe they were something else. My eyes are 74 years old! I liked your photos.

Angela, did you notice that in the photo #3 close up of side entrance, the Christmas lights are still there under the gutter? Interesting.
Right. Fortunately spring is a few weeks away....hopefully
