Great pics! I can't say how many times I've been at the Mill & the house. I was raised right down the road & remember watching the Park build the Lake!
I'm sorry for your loss. Prayers up for God's comfort & peach for you & your family.
Oh, wish I was there! Just beautiful!
I'm old-school! Take the photo & no tweaking on the computer!
Absolutely! Can't wait! Looking to get some good shots!
I love my T3i! And it will take pics of sporting events -- I've taken pictures at NASCAR races & the cars appear parked!
I'm sorry, Bob. I certainly didn't mean to "hijack" anything. I've oftentimes seen posts here such as mine & no one seemed to have a problem with it. That's why I thought it was ok. I apologize & it won't happen again.
My daughter & I are going to the Grand Canyon in June from KC via the Santa Fe Trail, cut over to Old Bent's Fort, Durango & go south out of Moab. I'm taking notes on where to go in Utah (& any ideas from Arizona, New Mex, Texas & Oklahoma would also be helpful)!
Never heard of a diopter - what is it? So, to get good macro shots, you'd need basically a 90 or 100mm (despite the fact on the 18-55s, it says "Macro")? Those are such pretty pictures!
Why would you not want something like an 18-55 mm? Wouldn't that allow you to get closer?
Welcome, fellow Hogger! Most of us are nice people and most of the answers to questions and advice are very helpful! I've found the only way to learn is to read the manual, take notes, go out shooting pics, repeat, repeat, repeat! Again, welcome & enjoy!
Not at photography, because I don't get paid for it!
I'll check different software programs & see what I come up with & play around with it. It's all a hobby anyway & I do want to get better, hence my joining this blog and occasionally asking questions. I certainly didn't mean to ruffle any feathers!
