Could be a good reason or it could be stolen. Jogging down the licence number and a quick call to the police could eleviate the latter. However, if it was stolen, would it not be nice for your Alma Mater to get it back ?
How did you do? Depends on whether you made it to shelter with your camera equipment on time before that rain storm hit!
Oh, you mean the picture? Great !
with f7.1 , if you do not want to stop down, make your focal point on her shoulder. You may find that the DOF is sufficient to have both the dog and girl in focus.
The double sling is great. If you want to carry multiple lenses a good hunting vest with lots of velcro closure pockets works great. There is also lots of room for extra batteries, external flashes , extra cards, lens cloth, etc., etc.
Adjust your temperature (White balance) a little. The best way to learn about your camera is charge up the batteries and sit down with the camera and instruction book. Try everything they talk about, find everything they show, Doing all the manipulations and looking at what each thing does will change the way you use your camera and you will enjoy it more. With digital cameras, it is not at all expensive ,,,only your time,
You have to remember that these cacti in Manitoba survive temperature differences of -40 C to +35C /// -40F - +95F. Tough plants.
Every time you finish a session with a card and have downloaded your images, erase the images on the card and format it. The only time I ever had that problem was before I learned to do that. I used to just erase the images and reuse the card. You have to format it every time for the health of the card. I still use that same card I had errors on now and it has been 9 years since I had the error problem
Being originally from Lockport, Manitoba I miss the variety in Manitoba ranging from desert, to bare flat prairie, to the polar bears in Churchill, and the great many lake scenes. The variety of flowers is phenomenal and one of my favorites is that flower.
Great image.
When you take the time and work at a technique and can make it work,,,take the credits.. You did a great job and deserve the credit .
Call it prunning,,,,Hahahaha !
Thanks Dixigirl. Yes but I am actually surprised that they grow only one extra bulb per plant per year. I have other Lillies that grow 2-4 every year. I give away a bunch every year.
for sure,,,,wow factor shots
Totally fantastic images. I have seen professional Dog Photographers come not even close to these. You have a formula the works.
Great shots. May I ask what lens / camera you were using. These are difficult shots to get. Great job.
