to Meganephron, on the first sun shot I used a NDX400 filter ISO 100 F5.6 1/800 sec. on the ring I used a telephoto lens F18. 1/200 ISO100 without ND filter.

oops, got a "ricochet of light" in this one.
Very nice. Did you shoot these with manual settings, if so then what kind of shutter speed and f-stops.
Yes I agree, I saw that after I posted. I like the color but it does need to be blurred. I really didn't have anything specific in mind, I found that in my files and just started playing with it. Thanks
she took this photo of her sons, then I worked a little "digital" magic. Now she's hooked.

thanks, most machine tools I use are CNC but I still like to get on this 50 yr. old lathe and do some old school work.
1st job, to turn double lead threads on a lathe, but instead of doing old school style, I wire edm cut a double tool cutter, then ran lathe on 5 threads per in. instead of 10.
2nd job, to wire-cut a new gear by just using the worn-out gear on the right to go by.
really good photos, shows patience. we have critters just like these at our back door, but hard to get good photos.
good shots, I love walking around big cities taking photos. My closest is Nashville,TN.
challenge her to use her creativity on simple subjects, just like the car engine. Looks like she's got the talent.
I just stepped outside and saw this, didn't really want to go back in for my Nikon so I pulled out my Android then edit with Corel.
yes it's around 20 and that driveway is iced over. Tree limbs snapping in the distance sounding like gunfire.
trees covered with ice with street-light behind. Taken with my Android.
