BigJake: I believe the first two are female and the last one is male. Check the beak (I believe it is the female that has a longer beak than the male) You can always tell when they are side by side (female is usually 1/3 bigger). Great shots..I am amazed each and every time I see one. Thanks for sharing. Terri

I knew the weather would be bad, but I had to hit Yellowstone Park for opening weekend anyway. It paid off big time in almost a dozen Grizzly bear sightings. Clouds and wind and rain and snow all contributed to the lack of good images, but I got a few anyway.
These are from a set of a pair of Osprey nesting high up on a pinnacle of rock in the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone about 1/4 mile downstream from the Lower Falls. I had a high vantage point, but they were still way far out, almost half way across the canyon. But I thought I would post some here anyway. The 50mph winds were moving my lens even on the tripod, they are what they are, I hope some enjoy the unusual perspective on the Osprey anyway, I did see that they only had one egg in the nest.

I strongly recommend the download the detail is fantastic!!!! Thanks for sharing your adventure with us. Terri
