I built this crab from donations received by hundreds of Rockport citizens it took nine months to complete while not making a dime off it. I'm a third generation fisherman from Rockport & know all about the history in fact We have a book called "Rockport Texas History, legends, & Lore" I can't help that crabs are ugly so I tried to make it look more like a real crab than its predecessor . I can’t please everyone.

Its Bigger than most think it is!

this has nice color like the actual Crab thats out there the one you took seems over exposed a little. I tinted the fiber-glass resin I was only to get the primary colors so there was alot of over-lays to get the colors of a crab

I built the Big blue crab I named him "Jimmy" for two reasons first of all Crabs are called Jimmys and second My brother,who Died drowning in Copono Bay was ate up by crabs for days in that ol' bay, his name is Jimmy.
