Oh and also I can shoot in NEF but I have to convert to JPEG as I only have photoshop CS2 and my images will not load in NEF format even though I have added the correct plugin for it to work. Is CS2 too old for my camera? I can not afford another photoshop programme

Hi Guys
I am using a Nikon D2300 with a Tamron SP AF 17-50mm F/2.8 XR Di II LD IF Lens.
I am currently taking Images for the British Music Experience at the O2 Arena of some charity and promotion events.
I am having some trouble with the focusing. Mostly I have stopped down to F2.8 as it is dark and the lighting is not to fantastic and shooting at speeds such as 125 and 200 so camera shake is at a minimum, but still many Images are very out of focus. I use the Continuous Servo Auto Focus option as I need to shoot fast and the ISO is set to 3200 or 6400.
Please look at some images I have posted and let me know where I am going wrong!
