I've been waiting four pages to see if someone would identify your bird, Gregory but it hasn't happened yet. It's time to set the record straight. What you have here is a juvenile Great Crested Flycatcher. Oops. I just saw that it has been mentioned. In that case I'm confirming it. Hope it helps. Good shot my friend.

They're all good Donna but #2 is exceptional. Though the subject is adorable it's the quality of the image that makes it such a great photograph.

Are you sure it's not Bee Balm, Bob?

It is a difficult task,Joe, to get images that are different. These are inspiring,Joe,reminding me that there is always a different angle, perspective, something new and exciting. I agree with others regarding #3--its as focused on you as you are on him!!

Hi Carla. The most aggressive ones are always the females with Ospreys. The males seem to be content to sit in a tree and watch their mates handle the tough stuff. Where have you read that before? Thanks lady.

incredible series Joe !! how do you manage to get that close !?

Get close enough to the nest and then be patient. The birds will do the rest.

I don't she likes you much. Something on the order of "point that #@$^%*! thing somewhere else".

I'm sure that's what she was saying, Jerry. And she said it often enough. Thanks my friend.

What an incredible camera, Bob. I'd buy it just for that awesome dial on top. I saw your other post as well and the results from that camera are impressive. You must get the same sensation as holding a classic Leica. Well done Bob.
