ACTUALLY no one knows all the facts. I know of three couples, fully v******ted, who contracted C****-** from other couples also fully v******ted. The best course is to get v******ted, get the booster when appropriate and stay away from everyone indoors and at least 12 feet away outdoors.
You will never be able to get help from Microsoft/Windows like you can get from Applecare where the tech all are easy to understand and able to help. Stick with Mac which is so intuitive!
I have a Canon RP with 24-105mm full frame lens. What is reasonably priced for longer lenses? I watched my granddaughter in a regatta but too far away for still photography.
I use an iMac at the office and a new MacBook Air 13” (M1 chip) with a good sized monitor, and Bluetooth mouse and keyboard and it’s perfect for photo editing.
And for those Windows users, match laptops and see that the MacBook Air with 512 SSD drive and 16Gb RAM is $210 LESS EXPENSIVE than a Dell XRS 13" similarly equipped. And of course there is AppleCare which lets you call every day, as often as you want, for help from English speaking tech people--nothing like that with Microsoft! And you don't need Norton utilities. And you need an Android phone for easy connection--if you have an iPhone, the connection to Windows mail and contacts and calendar is tricky. Apple is a better deal financially and operationally!
I have a Canon Zoom lens EF-M 55-200mm 1:4.5-6.3 IS STM with a UV filter and a Fotodiox Pro EF-EOS (M) Auto adapter enabling attachment of EF lenses to the M-50. No reasonable offer refused--I bought them two years ago (lens/filter for $270 and adapter for $45) and they are hardly used. Having already sold the camera, I will throw in two NB-10L batteries and their charger). I'm thinking $200 would cover postage and acquisition).SOLD
Lots of issues--every window switch caused a colored spinning wheel and a delay. So aggravating that after three days I re-installed Catalina. Apple told me yesterday that next Thursday they will release an update for BigSur. I will try it a week after that!
I upgraded from Catalina 10.15.7 to BigSur on my 2017 iMac after first doing the same on my 2015 MBP. The MBP worked fine but the iMac was dreadfully slow. Most times when I tried to open another window or App, I got a colored spinning wheel before the switch. After several calls to AppleCare with senior advisors, I gave up and am now back to Catalina on the iMac. While the MBP is pretty good with BigSur, I work every day at my desk using the iMac.
I will wait a few months and try it again. Maybe it needs a vaccination???
