I would have been more perpendicular to the subject it would have given you better depth of field, also it looks a little underexposed to my eye.

The OP asked why he is not getting business for portrait work, would you rather I lie to him and tell him that is work is solid when it is?

Simply put he is not getting portrait work because there are some very talented photographers in his area that are undercharging for their skill level (most likely because the market is flooded with sub-par photographers charging rock bottom prices).

You tell like it is.I admire you, I feel you didn't say anything wrong. When I post I would greatly value your opinion Annie. Your my hero. Tell it like it is!!!!!

Fluorescein angiography involves injection of sodium fluorescein into the systemic circulation (via arm vein), and then an angiogram is obtained by photographing the fluorescence emitted after illumination of the retina with blue light at a wavelength of 490 nanometers.
Have to have that done once a year. I hate it. The dye would make me extremely sick to my stomach.

These look good to me. There is a lot to take in. The veggie photos are as they must be, sharp. The portrait of the dog is an interesting photo. The winner is the portrait. I might have preferred to see more of the face; but you worked with what you have. Lighting an exposure are excellent and create a mysterious atmosphere. I love that portrait.

Thank you

The ladybug is a bit out of focus but the others are looking pretty good. I'd say you did it!

Thanks and I think you maybe right about the lady bug, however the depth of field was very shallow and I think the "mouth" is in focus but I should have focused on the eyes.

I don't post often, but I am very interested in other peoples opinions.
It really, really helps a lot when you take to heart the things people say about your work. And we have a lot of talented people here so, I for one, value other peoples comments. Thanks for taking the time too look.

Hi everybody.

I made a picture of a beautiful place, but it is blurry. I bought a software to fix this picture, but was unsuccessful. Can you recommend what to do?

You can't fix out of focus.

You have already been warned about the railroad tracks - illegal, dangerous, and overdone. Good vignettes are subtle, with a very gradual transition - these are pretty heavy-handed, IMO.

Those issues aside, the images of your niece are well done.

I agree with captain but I also think your focus is a little soft (the eyes) and your exposure and white balance seems a little off. And way too much viginette.

IMHO the picture inside the picture spoils the effect.

Looks about right. So why is everything out of focus? Just curious as a newbie...

If I read this right your shutter speed was 1/15. That is way too slow.

OK you want an honest opinion. I don't intend to be cruel but I will be honest.I hope you take this as advice with the intent to help you and not to put you down. In my humble opinion these are somewhat flat. Your exposures are off a little and you need to work on your composition. You need to get a lot closer, fill your frame with your subject. And a little fill light will get you some texture.
