My first SLR was a yashica tl electro. I moved to a Canon AE1 and been with Canon ever since I now have a canon 40d and a T3. Both company's make Excellent camera and both produce great shots. Its all in what you want and what feels good to you.

Hi their My name is Jimmy and just found this forum and would like to Introduce my self. Been into photography since the 70's where i started out with a Yashica TL Electro SLR. I enjoyed shooting concert and action shots. I have some good (old ) concert shots i'd like post when i get the slides scanned.All of these concert shots are from the 70's. I moved up to a Canon AE1 and also had a Darkroom (in the spare bed room). Now I have a Canon 40d.I still see myself as a amateur and have a lot to learn.Photography had always been a fun rewarding hobby for me. Me and my wife try to go up in the Mountains in the Fall for the leaves changing. Last year we went to Fort Payne and we have been to Warn Springs Georgia Two times in the fall. This Year were going to Helen Georgia and I'm really looking forward to it. I'm planning making the best of it their. I hope I can learn some things from all of y'all and if I can offer any help I will be glad to. I'm glad to be here and hope to post some Pics soon.
