We have a lot of Asses here. Bishop is the Mule Capitol Of The World. They say they have Bears in Mammoth but I have never seen one there. Marilyn

Only time I get to Reno, Mike is about once a year to go up north to see my Mom in Crescent City. If you get down to Bishop, would love to show you around. I don't know why but we usually end up in Nevada. The Stateline is about 40 miles away. There is a great Ghost town called Gold Point that I want to see again. Not in the desert heat though. My e-mail is geteup@suddenlink.net My name is Marilyn.

Great pictures. Haven't photographed any horses near Reno. Only here in Southeast Nevada. Middle of nowhere. Fish Lake Valley and Montgomery Pass. The horses here are not friendly. Will run if approached. Sure hate what BLM does to them. They all but got rid of the burro's. None here anymore. Why doesn't BLM go after the Sidewinder Snakes? They do more harm than the horses. Nice hearing from you. I haven't been on this site for quite awhile. My works are on Redbubble.com under my name Marilyn diaz. I have more Mustang shots there.

Very nice. I shoot desert and mountain scenes a little north of you in Eastern and Central Oregon and capturing the disparity of dynamic range in this landscape, as you have done in these images, takes some skill ( at least it does for me :) )

What a great comment. Thanks.

Nice pictures of a nice area for sure, I've photographed and drove on lots of those dirt roads all around there in our Jeep. I'm curious if you have any information on how to find the Wagon Tracks going up Sherwin Grade ? I've been researching and found some articles about them, I'm going find them someday.

Haven't heard anything about them. It is quite rocky in that area.Rough traveling. Thank's for the great comment about the pictures. Much appreciated.
