Just off the wall here, the Psycho Babble group, are they a tribute band to The Alan Parsons Project? Just asking because I always enjoyed the music Alan Parsons created and one of my favorites is titled Psycho Babble.
They're not a tribute to APP. They're a band local to me who were supporting Stiff Little Fingers. They have a track on Spotify called Lost Property, for the curious.
Worryingly, the car in the last picture is in better nick than mine. Great shots.
Fantastic pics - love #3 the best.
My Panasonic DMC-TZ5 isn't really man enough to take quality pictures from a distance in the poor lighting of a concert (but I don't want to take a bigger camera to those nights out).
I have found I can create, what I think, are quite good results if I play with the images in photoshop. What do you reckon?
First Pic is of local musician Lauren Bayross-Payne in Horsham UK
Second and third are of Psycho Babble playing at the Concorde 2 in Brighton UK.
Hi Janet - I have a Panasonic DMC-TZ5 which goes everywhere with me. I hope you hang in there with your LX7 as I'm sure you'll love it once you give it more time. I've attached a couple of close ups I took with my TZ5 which, I believe, has the same lens as yours.
Thanks all. Appreciate the comments and the welcome.
Hi all. I've been taking photos for a good few years but, apart from my old - now redundant - Canon AV1, I now just have a couple of Panasonic DMC-TZ5's and a DMC-TZ3 (good point and shoots IMO).
I'm keen to step up to something more sophistcated so am interested to see what everyone's up to and to learn.
I have taken over 20,000 photos and will post some of my favourites from time to time, hopefully, for some constructive criticism
