Jerry, I see tons of comments from you and find them very useful. Whenever I see your name or picture I always read what you have to say. Thank you for that. I'm just wondering in the almost two years you have been responding to UHH, and the number of total posts you have, you are replying over 206 times a week, or over 29 posts per day. I'm just wondering how you have time to take any pictures? You have a secret that I want to know. Looking forward to seeing more.

Happy Shooting, Dennis

I have an old (about 10 yrs)(largest Memory Card available was 128 MEG) SONY Cybershot. With this camera I can crop, Magnify, and change file size. It retains the original and cropped photos. You can do this as many times as you want and still keep the original. NOW I have a Canon T3i. 50 times the SONY, but I cannot find a way to crop with this camera and SAVE. Am I missing something? If anybody has an answer to this, please post. With this feature its the same as Post Processing right on the spot so you can take another if needed.

If you haven't seen the Inside of a B-25, and your flying front seat with the pilot, it's real tight. Your shoulders are almost touching. Forget any telephoto unless you are shooting outside at scenery, and that you can do from any airplane. Enjoy the ride and concentrate on the aircraft. My father flew during WWII. If you ever get to Milwaukee's Mitchell Field, they have at the entrance on a pedestal, a mounted Mitchell. That is how the airport was named after Gen. Billy Mitchell. Have a great flight.

It's been 17 years but remember like it was yesterday, something you will never forget. You have to remember a few thing to determine what lenses to take. 1. Jungle 2. Cloud Forests, 3. Mountains 4. Water 5. Volcanoes, the Aerial Volcano erupts like Old Faithful about every 2-3 hours 6. Bugs (macro and bites) 7. Birds 8. Monkeys 9. Gators 10. Jesus Christ Lizards, get on a river tour and thats what locals call them, they actually run ON the water. With all that now try to pick out your lense. When you get in country you will say Damn, I wish I would have brought the other lense. Yes as said before you can do it with one lense, two would be better, 3 & 4, get the picture (LOL). Next time I go it will be for a no less than 3 weeks and if I can carry it, it goes. One last thing take lots of gigs and have fun.

I currently have a Canon T3i. This unit comes with a sensor for the remote on the camera front to trigger the camera. Any ideas on how to use the remote from the rear. My position is inside our house, and with the sensor on the front, the house is always in the picture. We mainly are birding, but deer, turkey ducks and other wildlife pass by the camera, so we need to be inside as to not alarm anything.

Interesting video I received from a friend who knew I was into photography. Its 15 minutes worth seeing how the big boys and their toys play aboard the International Space Station. www. dpreview.com/news/2013/03/13/dslr-images-space-station I tried to transfer as a hyper-link but failed. Look and enjoy. I guess if they don't get the right shot, they can just choose from the other 9 cameras their. Just wondering about the cost of all camera, lenses, and any other photographic equipment. Those were some extremely outstanding videos. I wonder if they would be willing to take me up as their instructer?

Harvey, Good Luck, we all want to see anything anybody has. This is the reason I bought the T3i, I have a fairly good telescope, and already waiting to start, but have no experience in either, just learning. I'm in Wisconsin, just look at radar, I don't think I will see anything for a long while, Pan Starr's Mag. is going away, please get all you can and please forward to Dennis. I can't wait. Anybody else interested in the Heavens, don't be afraid to write
