Sigma 150-500 telephoto lens for the Sony A77 last week I asked about it and this week I am waiting for it. It will; be here tomorrow. I will try it out over the weekend and let everyone know what I think next week. Thanks for all your help and comments.

My wife and I made a bus trip last week to Mackinac Is. It was just a beautiful place. Do to the fact that no motorized vehicles are allowed it was a peaceful place.
We enjoyed every minute that we were on the island.
Two day were definitely not enough. We will go back next year. Here are some photos I took with more to follow.

Has anyone received this lens yet? I am waiting for one with the Sony mount. I would like to hear about any comments you have, Pro or Con.

I have found that bird photography is very "Challenging". I finally figured out other photogs get these closeups. They use a long telephoto lens and then crop. This way you don't scare them away.

The Blue Heron is my favorite bird to photograph. They are very graceful and beautiful in Flight
