"If the shoe fits"... post it!
Even if it DOESN'T fit... post it anyway.

Can be YOUR shoes, Baby shoes, WORK shoes, FANTASY shoes or even HORSE-shoes... if you've got photos of shoe(s)... post 'em!

As the song goes: "These boots were made for walkin' ".... so let's get this thread under way. :)

I was looking at older posts and was suprised that this thread did not attract more postings after all we all have shoes, some worn out and some clean some shiny and many outlandish!

I am going to sort though my files and maybe shoot some of my CFM shoes.

his views that God created marriage to be between a man and a woman only? that is all it takes? talk about intollerant. Never mind that according to the Torah, the Koran and the Bible , homosexuality is not just a sin but an abomination.

Sodomy, the gay art of inserting one's penis into a another mans anus is illegal in every state of the union. I checked, as a gay colleage at work (I work in a teaching hospital) was talking about it!so how can a state give blessing to a gay couple who are almost certainly going to break the law.

Very apt response.

If the Mayor's of Chicago and Boston care to look at the Law regarding Interstate Commerce they might well (and I hope they do) Sue the ass off both Mayors for interfeering in Free Commerce. No city has that right to decline planning permission and the creating of hundreds of jobs because the owner expresses a view opposed to the Mayors opinion. SUE SUE Emmanuel for the bigot he is.
Chicago statistics say that 83% of black children are illigitimate (Bastards) in every day language. Most of the "Spread em open. and spread em wide" women are on welfare and foodstamps and "WE" the taxpayers pay to keep the housed in section 8 homes, cloth them, feed the, educate them, pay all their medical bills, feed em again at school breakfasts and lunches.
Chicago is drowning in debt, the country is submerged in debt! subsides these sluts who are dragging the economy deeper and deeper into the crap! and yet the peasent ellect Emmanual castigates a man with high moral standards for his opinions. Emmanual you are scum and aborted along with Obama from a decent society to drag everyone else down to the drains with them!

As a total new member, my comments are somewhat limited to my special forte which is medical photography and there is no place for creative work.

I was totally blown by the photographs here but overwhelmed by the creativity in the photograph #2. This was a magnificent conversion, am I right in thinking you made this from the hibiscus featured in photo #1.

You have awakened my interest in purchasing Photoshop!

I'm sure most of you keep some dud photos to play with creatively. I'm sure I'm not the only one.

Yesterday, I played a bit with a dud and one that wasn't a dud but I just felt like playing with it.
The original photos will be shown first with the "Artistic" creation directly following.

Additionally, the first one was a dud of a close-up shot... but the second one was not a dud at all. I was just curious as to what else I could do with it. Of course the possibilities are endless...

Anyway, I'm rather happy with the results of the first one. Especially the color.

And Ian was SMITTEN with it... so much so... that he felt I should share it here with you all. *blush*
These days, this kind of stuff is a dime-a-dozen really... but I will appease him. He's been very kind to me, afterall. *smiles*

As a total new photographer on this forum I am a little bewildered that the photographer (he or she) thought this worth publishing.

I discovered Ektachrome 40 years ago and haven't looked back. The sun makes the picture (for me). Is that natural flare, effects filter,....??

...and what is Ektachrome? The sun is natural...strictly an "accident" while I was working to take this photo.

Just joined the forum today and my nic is a misnomer as I just yesterday purchased my first digital camera.

However I have a library of color slides from over 20 years of shooting with a vintage Pentax S1a.

Ektachrome is a color slide film from Kodak and is Kodak's remaining slide film. Kodak for 50 years or so had a film called Kodachrome that produced slides and was almost only developed at Lodak Labs. National Geographic used Kodachrome exclusivly since it was inyroduced. Howver with the advent of digital cameras the sales went through the floor and Kodak quit processing the fil several years ago. Kodachrome had the longest projected life psan od any fil and my dad cried when it was discontinued!

Ektachrome is still available and can be processed at home and the film speed pushed a little. Hope this helps.
