Rider on my home owners covers loss, theft, breakage (repair or replace) and weather damage. Not all policies cover water. No deductible. Cost is about 1% of value.

I own both an Epson Artisan 1430 and a Canon Pixma Pro 100. I am thinking of buying ink from Inkcartridgespot.com. Does any one have any experience in buying from them? What is the quality of their product and what is their reliability and customer service like? I am looking more at the ink cartridges as opposed to CISS.

Amazing history. Was your Dad on the ship during the attack in the Pacific?

No he was on New York having a hernia repair the one he got dealing with the 8 inch shell. He was assigned to a different destroyer that went to the Pacific

There were 2 USS Laffey's. The one referenced here is DD 724! Not only did the Laffey survive the Kamikaze attack, it was at Utah beach on D-Day. While there they were hit by an 8" shell just above the waterline. It never detonated. Crew members went below deck and pushed the shell out of the ship! Basic repairs were made at a British ship yard and the Laffey eventually sailed for home for permanent repair. It was after this repair that the Laffey sailed off for the Pacific and was engaged in the world's last great Naval Battle! The USS Laffey DD 724 and crew continued to serve honorably during both Korea and Viet Nam. The Laffey is a currently a floating Museum at Patriots Point in South Carolina.
My father served aboard the Laffey on D Day and was one of the crew members who shoved the shell out of the ship in into the ocean!

Instagram is a smart phone app. Pictures have to be in the memory of your phone. If you are on face book you can put the photo on face book. Then save it to your phone. Then using the Instagram app post the photo. Or, email it to your self, open the email on your phone and save the photo and again post to Instagram. I usually go the face book route.

Thanks. Seeing them side by side give a clear distinction between the two.

This was taken at Middle Creek Wildlife Area. The larger geese with long necks and longer bills are Canadas. The smaller geese with shorter necks and shorter bills are cackling geese. Coloring for both birds are identical. Counting from right to left number 2 and 4 are cackling geese.

Just to clear things up. My OP post was not about my role as pastor and my policy it was about our responsibility as photographers.
I do a lot of nature photography and would never walk into a persons back yard to get a better shoot of a bird. I would first go to the front door and ask permission. I may lose the shot but i did the right thing. And if the person seems interested in the bird i will often drop off a print of that bird as a way of saying thank you. I also post unusual sightings on a birdline. I would never post a private location without first gaining permission.
It was about us doing the right thing

In response to many of the comments. Yes i meet with the couples and explain my and the churches policy. And i did
Eventually speak with the photographer and all worked out. She understood and followed the policy no questions asked.
What I really wanted to stress was more a matter of courtesy. Touch base with the pastor on arrival. It helps things go more smoothly for everyone. By the way i will endorse her for other weddings.

Well, you are right.

One thing thought, YOU are in charge and you must let the critter know that and if he creates a problem let the crowd know it.

I have seen one pastor do that in the middle of a ceremony as he was growing upset at the guy moving all over and being a distraction. Funny part? The B&G were happy with his intervention as they also saw it as a negative.

Needless to say that guy did not get any referral from that wedding.

Oh, we will talk. I am waiting to see how long it will take or if I have to initiate. I have been on this long enough. I actually took a photographer by the arm moved him to where I wanted him and told him not to move!
