Thanks for all the advice. I'm leaning toward the Sony Alpha
A57 because I have 2 minolta lenses that I could use on it. Price IS an issue so I think the better Pentax K-5 may be out. My cousin has a Sony A77 and told me he'd let me try it out before I buy. It's mind boggleing all that is available so I think I will go with the Sony and can always upgrade later. Thanks to all again.
I am wrestling with the new camera bug and am having a very hard time making a decision. I've used a bridge camera (Lumix FZ-18) for several years since giving up my Olympus OM-2N and film. I am looking at a Sony Alpha A57 and a Nikon D3200 but am open for suggestion. I do just general family and vacation shooting but am not satisfied with the image quality on the Lumix. I travel a lot and shoot a lot of landscapes. I seldom use the all auto functions on the Lumix and like to tinker with the controls. ANY suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
