Feel free to let me know if I could have done better.
I would like to see #2 from the front angle and maybe later in the day so the light would cross it with long shadows. Just MHO.
Just got a A-55 in August love it and have got some great deals on E-bay for lens. I had a Nex-3 so I was already a Sony guy. I'm just starting to learn Photography and have really found these cameras to be easy to use and learn with. I would highly recommend both. The nex does do great video.Haven't really tried much with the A-55 on video.
I couldn't wait any longer on the A-77 cause we were going to go on a cruise so I bought the A-55. I have not found anything I do not like yet I got in in August and have shot over 4k pics with it. My recent entries in our Fall show won 2- first place , Best in show and got 3 HMs. Not too bad for a guy who just started in real Photography last June. hope this helps. Plus you can get some real good vintage Minolta AF Lens for a reasonable price. They will fit right on with no problems. Good luck
[quote=sinatraman]decided what would be a great thread would be post your favorite shots and why you like them.
Here is a couple that I really like not the best work but they got my creative juices flowing and some are not repeatable.

Just a thought try a polarizer it my cut the shine some.
Did you ever hear Harry the Hairy Ape? youtube it you'll love it.
Personally I feel that you need the knowledge to recognize a great shot when it presents itself. Some wonderful images are lost because they were not taken then tweeked to ring out the premo one that is in there. Just MHO
Just a quick look at my one time attempt.

Fall in West Virginia is one of the most target rich environments you will ever find. I love it and go crazy every time here is a few special shots from this week.
Agree, just took a ride down to Pickens and the colors were exploding....Falling leaf is great! was it really falling or some trickery going on here. does not matter because it is a good one. One thing, crop the part of the house out.
I have cropped and adjusted the pic this is just a early version don't have a pp that will let me tilt and if I did straighten the house the trees in the background would be leaning. And as you say I try to produce the best photo with what I have to work with, downloaded gimp but need time to learn it. thx for all the comments
