I think his point is that you accept any evidence that Socrates or Plato lived, which they did, but you refuse to accept the historical fact that Jesus was an actual person. Why do you pick and choose whom you want to believe existed ? It weakens your argument.

That's the FEDERAL minimum wage. The States can set any minimum they want as long as it is above the federal.

What rock have YOU been under?

Of course the States can set a minimum wage. Do you people h**e the state government too ? I thought it was the black guy you h**ed. As Jimmy Kimmel said "Interest rates are low, gas prices are low and the stock market is high, but Obama is still black".

After all , France as all the benefits according to a few on this site . They should go there and see what humongous mess there in . As for Canada ( Quebec ) waiting time for emergency......5 hours , referral to a specialist ,waiting time 6 months , if you are lucky . Just came back from there my brother live there and I could see what type of bs it is , but one have to expect this when socialism get instated .

Right....much better to go bankrupt because you got sick or perhaps die because you don't have insurance. So much better here in the USA.
By the way, waiting 5 hours in the emergency room is not unusual here either.

In the first two years, He hired over 250,000 fed employees.

So how many retired, went on leave etc.?

So if you pad the system and then let attrition take its toll, he looks great.

If you want to see it work, fire everyone hired between1/2009 and 1/2011.

Valid Opinion provided proof of his claim. Do you have anything to back up your claim ?

It never worked in any democRAT controlled state, but they b***h about Kansas.

Typical.

And look who were the governors prior to the present governor.

Kathleen Sebelius, Democratic ,
January 13, 2003-April 28, 2009
And we know she couldn't tie her own shoes

Mark Parkinson, Democratic,
April 28, 2009- January 10, 2011

It took a republican to drive the state into the mess it is in today.

Very true and to the point. I'm familiar with Canada a very great system.

Agree. I travel a great deal and have talked to Canadians, Brits and Aussies. They all think their health care is great and think we are crazy here in the US.
Americans are blinded by insurance company propaganda. The big insurance companies don't want to give up their lucrative administrative salaries and hospitals love to sell you their $50 aspirins.

It depends on which coverage parts you have. That is what I have found out.

Not sure what you mean. Do you have Medicare or Medicare Advantage which is run by insurance companies as a PPO ? I have regular Medicare with a supplement that covers the 20% not covered by Medicare. No deductible and no co- pay.

Valid Opinion is right. I also know several TP people and even though they deny it, their actions show them to be r****t.

Like France, Canada and England ? they don't look so good after all theses years , and the taxes keeps going up and nothing to show for it .

Nothing to show for it ? Most of those countries spend less per capita on health care and have better mortality rates than we do. Google it and see for yourself.

Not lying to myself or others I'm on medicare and know this is true from my own experiences.........which is more valuable then reading unt***hs about it..

I've lived in 3 different states since I went on Medicare. I have never found a doctor who did not accept Medicare. With the aging population most doctors will have to accept Medicare or they won't have much of a practice.
It is surprising that so many people on this board have a single payer system, Medicare, and don't want others to have it too.

The problem with Socialized Medicine like ACA, or as we fondly like to call it, Obamacare, is that it leads us into socialism. Medicare like Social Security is what we had paid into while we worked. When the ACA becomes like Medicare were everyone is auto enrolled from birth and highly taxed to pay for it all the way to the grave, you can say that we have given up our freedom for a false (government) security. From Socialism to C*******m. We become dependent on the government for our daily bread. America will be burden like never before with high taxes and even higher debt. And this is what you want? This is what is coming when you are forced to buy insurance that you don't need and don't want. Does that need be explained to you as well?
The problem with Socialized Medicine like ACA, or ... (show quote)

What do you mean when you say insurance that you don't want or need. Who do you expect to pay for you if you are in a car accident and need emergency surgery. It is irresponsible not to have health insurance and expect others to pick up the tab for you. I thought conservatives believed in personal responsibility.

Obamacare may not be fully socialized medicine like in Cuba or North Korea, but it is definitely a gigantic shift in that direction. You have people that are getting their healthcare paid for by others, without the individual being required to contribute one cent.

Who do you think pays for the people that use the emergency room as their doctor ? Taxpayers. Someone has to make up those costs.
